Construction Engineering: This civil engineering branch deals with the planning, construction and maintenance of structures. Materials Engineering: This branch of civil engineering deals with the study of material strength, properties of materials used in construction and ceramics.

Geotechnical Engineering Services

Mobrin Solutions is able to offer complete Geotechnical Services that include: Planning of the investigation, Execution of field work and laboratory testing, Interpretation, reporting and recommendations, Piling and Foundation Design.

Site Investigation & Laboratory Testing

We offer the following services and to provide design data for Structural works, Roads, Dams and all other Building & Civil Engineering Projects: Excavation of Trial Pits, Soft/Rock Ground Drilling, Continuous Dynamic Penetration Test, In-situ Density Testing, Standard Penetration Test, Bulk Sampling for Laboratory Testing, Digital Site Photography & Mapping, Foundation Investigations for Structures, Laboratory Testing for Soils, Concrete Aggregates and Mixes, Bricks & Blocks, Bituminous Materials.

Piling Underpinning Services

Mobrin Solutions is able to offer different pile types and sizes ranging from Bored Cast-In-Place piles to Driven Cast-In-Place Propriatory piles. We also offer design and installation of underpinning systems.

Concrete Quality Assurance

As Mobrin Solutions, through the newly acquired
modern equipment from BL Herbert International
LLC, an American firm, constructing NEWEMBASSY
COMPOUND in Ibex LUSAKA, we can formulate a
Concrete Quality Assurance Program to suit the
needs of a specific site. The program would
include: Check on suitability of concrete materials.
Test of fresh and hardened concrete, including
concrete cube tests, concrete cylinder crushing and
Schmidt hammer tests.

Borrow Pit Investigation

Mobrin Solutions conducts detailed borrow pit investigations exercises in order to locate possible sources of material which are suitable for the use in construction, such as material used as bedding for pipelines, layer works in roads and rock and clay for the use in earth fill dam walls.
